    Music Mike proved he's still the Pied Piper of Rancho Murieta when he appeared at Lake Clementia Amphitheater Sunday afternoon in a concert sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. He delighted hundreds of kids and parents with "Bingo," "I've Been Working on the Railroad" and other classic songs of childhood as well as offbeat ones like "The Boo-Boo Song."

    County OKs small-scale planning study for Murieta

    [Expanded from news brief published Sept. 12] The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Wednesday night to begin work on a study that's possibly the first step in a new, full-blown master development plan for Rancho Murieta, or possibly the last step before approval of nearly 300 new homes for Murieta North.
