Unless RMA management and/or Board has once again "silently" signed agreements with undisclosed developers, the Murieta Gardens developers have no authority to falsely advertise access to any of RMA common areas and facilities, specifically within our gates, to their potential buyers. When PTF developer agents silently "negotiated" with RMA BoD/Manager for that disastrous "developer agreement, later renamed mutual benefits agreement/MBA", that "agreement" only included their undeveloped owned parcels identified on their tentative subdivision maps within our gates submitted to the County for approval at that time. It did not include that external parcel, now known as Murieta Gardens which was then owned by a seperate entity/developer from PTF, Weile and associates, nor any parcels outside of RMA gates. If "New North" developers, Sullivan and group or some other venture, seperately purchased the Murieta Gardens parcel from that entity, when they bought out the PTF parcels/holdings, they have no standing to include Murieta Gardens or any other such external parcel into that "developer/MBA", thus no access to our common areas and facilities unless RMA membership approves.
RMA (the HOA) is not synonymous with Rancho Murieta as it pertains to physical space. However, people typically refer to Rancho Murieta (when they actually mean RMA the HOA). I can see where that is confusing/misleading/misinterpreted (intentionally or not).
Then there is the fact that addresses within RMA (the HOA) are often listed as part of Sloughhouse.
Does anyone know what the physical boundaries are of Rancho Murieta (the county town name, for lack of a better term, not just RMA the HOA)?
Then, is land area within Rancho Murieta (the county town name) the same as Sloughhouse? At one point, I thought they were distinct, then thought they were the same, but maybe they overlap?
As I understand it, and what was told to me when we built here 31 years ago.....We live in Sloughhouse,California in a developement called Rancho Murieta......When you get your property tax bill, it clearly says your property is in Sloughhouse California. That includes, the Village, the South, the Plaza and anything else within our boundries. So, whatever name anyone calls it, it's really Sloughhouse.
"What gives? Murieta Gardens advertises as being IN Rancho Murieta yet they are no more in RM than Murieta Village."
Wow!
And where do you think the boundaries of Rancho Murieta are?

Maybe a Venn Diagram would help.

Rancho Murieta is a 'Planned Development' (PD). It was created by Sacramento County in 1969 by ordinance Z-69-62.
Below is a map of Rancho Murieta obtained from the Sacramento County Planning Department:
