Scott Jones, the Sheriff of Sacramento county will be the guest speaker at the Rancho Murieta Rotary Club Wed. Sept. 7, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the board room of the Country Club.
Sheriff Scott Jones was elected Sheriff by the citizens of Sacramento County and began his term in January 2011. He joined the Sheriff’s Department in 1989, and was assigned to work at the brand new Main Jail. After he completed his assignment at the Main Jail, Jones was assigned to the patrol division and worked in every patrol service area within Sacramento County.
In 2000, after graduating law school, Jones was assigned as the Department’s Legal Advisor, a position he held for over seven years.
The public is welcome to attend the Rotary meeting, listen Sheriff Jones’ comments and ask questions and address concerns. Please RSVP to email@example.com so the Rotary and County Clubs can have enough space and chairs for everyone.
