Windows 10 Upgrade

Many of you are seeing a chance to upgrade to windows 10. Being in the IT world, we always wait to upgrade to any new software for about a year. This will allow time for any bugs to be fixed in any new software coming out. I tell everyone "don't be the guinea pig".

Windows 10 upgrade

A word of caution, "Before doing any upgrade" Make sure you have a back up of all your important files. Like, Pictures , Music , Quick books , Quicken , Outlook .Act , Documents, etc. I have seen where the files have been wiped out while upgrading. So please do a back up to an external usb hard drive just to be on the safe side. Also, the upgrade will only support windows 7 and 8. It does not support windows XP or windows Vista.

Windows 10 headache

The verdict is out on windows 10. And so far, their have been issue's. Either windows 10 does not support an application or when it fianlly installs on your computer it crashes it. Also, a few have lost all their files completely. So if you can resist downloading it for about 9 months so microsft can work out all the bugs. You will save yourself a big headache for now.

Update to Windows 10 Upgrade

So far, a few people have upgraded to windows 10 and after a couple months of using 10 their computers crashed almost losing all of their data files! There really is no rush to upgrade since windows 7 works great!  Also, get a back up of your all your files on an external usb hard drive. If you choose to take the chance and upgrade your computer to windows 10.
