Join us for Fuchsia Culture at the RVGC May meeting.  This is our last program speaker for the 2011/2012 year.   Rodney Bergquist, who has had a plant named after him, will lead us into this enchanting world.

Rodney has over 125 fuchsias in his collection.  He is a past President of the American Fuchsia Society (AFS) Vallejo Branch and AFS Bulletin Editor from 2007 to present.  Outreach is important to the Society and Rodney is on a mission to spread the word about these beautiful flowering plants.

You will leave knowing many new varieties of fuchsias and surprising facts on how they thrive here with a little sun protection and even return after hard freezes.   Want a plant that will bloom all summer?  Fuchsias!

4” potted fuchsias will be available to purchase and Rodney will have handouts on fuchsia culture.  You won’t want to miss this, the last RVGC program of the year.

The RVGC meets Tuesday evening, May 22nd, at the Rancho Murieta Association building. Membership, refreshments, and social time begin at 6:30 p.m.  Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.

For membership information, contact Lois Neumayer, 354-1729, or Candy Hearn, 354-1486,  2012/2013 membership dues are included when new members sign up in May or June.
