Some of the community events and school activities that our families regularly enjoy may cease to exist if this year's OKC Corral isn't successful. Many people don't realize that many local kids’ sports and programs depend on funding from the Kiwanis and Optimist Club of Rancho Murieta, such as youth soccer, baseball and basketball leagues, junior high wresting, lacrosse and service clubs, and boy/girl scout programs. Without funds from a successful OKC Corral, annual events such as Fishing Day, Bicycle Safety and Car Seat Safety Days, and even our beloved 4th of July Festivities could be compromised. Youth concerts, teen nights and arcade weekends would also be in jeopardy. That's because Kiwanis and Optimist Club budgets are largely comprised of the proceeds generated by OKC Corral – without these funds, there simply won’t be money available to support these activities. So, please help ensure that these great activities continue by becoming a cash sponsor (individuals and businesses welcome!) or donating merchandise or services to our silent/live auctions and raffles. Simply download a sponsor/donor form from our website at www.okccorral.org or contact Louise Gumbinger at 354-9704 or email@example.com.
