Cable Quality

After returning from a week of being out of town, the quality of my cable system has gone from worse to so bad there isn't a channel that I can view and/or hear.  This is like trying to fill a "duck pond" in a parking lot, it just keeps moving around every time they try to fill it in.  We ought to keep a meter running constantly on the customer satisfaction index of the Cable System.

I did call and report it on Sunday.

Cable Quality Update

In a follow up to my post, I had called and left a message with RMA on Sunday, May 18th, and posted my first comment on Monday, May 19th.  Later in the afternoon, I was visited by two technicians who informed me they fixed the problem at my home.  I invited them in and checked the reception to find the reception in good condition.  The technicians informed me that the signal was too strong at my house and they had to install a device.

Both Rod and Teressa had called my home and left follow up messages.  The response and follow up was great!  Thank you.

cable issue

When I read your comment Mike, I hoped that after the issue was fixed, that you would also spend the time to let people know that your reception was cleared up. Thank You for doing just that. Since I worked in the service business, I observed many times that people were real quick to complain about something and very seldom let me know that they were pleased to see that it had been fixed. We have two really competent cable techs, so call RMA, report it and it will be fixed.

Cable

Mike, you seem to have some pull so maybe you can get RMA to replace the missing cable pedestal in my yard. It's been a couple of months and besides being vandalism asking to happen it's an eyesore.I've left messages with the RMA maint. twice, Rod Hart once and the GM once. I even filled out a formal complaint to and on RMA with pictures. No return call from Hart. A sarcastic response from the maintenance dept. after my second call that "I'd be first on the list when in." The GM saying "we just got a bunch of them in and I'll make sure we get ya". No response from RMA on my formal complaint.

I even offered to give them free professional advice and help. It took me 2 minutes to locate the product  and arrange purchase through one of my suppliers. Basic project management 101.
