The Rancho Murieta Community Services District is offering rewards of up to $1,000 for tips about crimes that occur in the district. "Anyone with information on the recent graffiti vandalism and thefts from vehicles can submit a tip through WeTip and be eligible for a reward," Security Chief Greg Remson wrote in an email announcing the program. Rewards up to $1,000 are provided for convictions made through the use of WeTip.
The CSD joined the WeTip program through its insurance company, Golden State Risk Management Authority, which funds the rewards distributed by WeTip.
Anonymous tips are reported to WeTip through an 800 number or the WeTip website. After WeTip receives the information, it is provided to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department and the Security Department for action.
