Ken Heimbecker, a Rancho Murieta resident for 14 years, died Wednesday at age 80. He and Carmen, his wife of 51 years, moved to Rancho Murieta after retirement and both greatly enjoyed the people, the golf and the wonderful life.
Mr. Heimbecker loved fly fishing, golf and the Giants. He and his mother-in-law, Versie Motch, survived many night games at Candlestick Park. He was an active member of the San Jose Flycasters for many years. He owned and operated The Midge Fly Shop while teaching flytying and casting for San Jose City College Adult Education.
