A neighbor broke up a possible car burglary Saturday afternoon on Puerto Drive, Security reported Sunday.
A resident told Security that an unknown woman stopped at a neighbor’s car, parked in the driveway, about 1 p.m. Saturday and tried the handle. Security said he described the woman as about 20 years old, African-American, wearing a light blue shirt and carrying a bright yellow bag.
The neighbor who saw the woman said he came out of his garage and startled her, and she fled into nearby bushes, Security reported. Security and sheriff’s deputies responded to a call and looked for the woman.
A person on Guadalupe Drive reported seeing the woman heading toward Stonehouse Park. The area was searched, but there was no sign of her, Security said. Read more » about Neighbor reports suspicious activity on Puerto
